About Me
Marketing is more than just strategy—it’s storytelling. And here is my story.
I began my journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from BYU, driven by a deep curiosity about how the world works—on the levels of species, cells, and molecules.
After graduation, I spent two years working in a chemistry lab. However, I quickly realized that I craved a career with more creativity, variety, and strategic problem-solving.
That realization, and my hobbies at the time, led me to marketing, where I’ve found the perfect blend of creation, strategy, and storytelling. Now, as a marketing student at UNR, I’m truly loving the challenge of building brand identities and exploring the limitless potential of the marketing industry.

How did I get my start?
My journey in marketing started as a favor to the local Scouting America Council. They needed a new website, and I was excited to help on this project because creating websites was a skill I really wanted to develop. After creating the website, I helped by creating social media posts and taking pictures at their events. This was a good incentive to get me to advance my graphic design skills and make the software leap from Krita to Photoshop.
These months of working in the marketing field were so enjoyable that I decided to switch to marketing completely.

When I am not studying marketing, you can find me…
Enjoying stories, playing board games (and adding mechanics), making artwork for my family, and looking for new creative projects to work on.
My imagination is very visual so when I listen to or read stories, I can truly get lost in them. I especially love stories done through the medium of Dungeons and Dragons. The chaos that happens when you give control of your success to dice makes for many great moments.
Creation fuels everything I do in and out of my work.
Let’s create something together!
